Class Descriptions

ZOOMBA

Our signature cardio-fitness dance class taught by our two certified Zumba instructors and founders, Mariella & Lexie. These classes are so fun that they’re often called exercise in disguise; however, they provide a total body workout, combining cardio, muscle conditioning, and flexibility.

Come join the party!

ZOOMBA Flex

This Week’s Guest Instructor Classes

TikTok Fit with Saige

Lexie’s little sister, Saige, is the cool teenager we all wish we were. This basically insta-famous teen is helping us all be cool with ZOOMBA’s new TikTok Class — a first of its kind fitness class created by Saige, Lexie, & Mariella. Each class will start with a warm-up and will then break into a step-by-step tutorial of today’s most popular TikTok dances. Once everyone has the moves down, the class turns cardio as we all bust into fun aerobic dancing as a build-up to the featured TikTok clip that was just learned. By the end of class, you’ll not only be sweaty — you’ll be on your way to becoming a TikTok star!

Hip Hop Fitness with Meg

Hip Hop Fitness with Meg is a 60-minute dance party that will feel more like you are at the ~club~ than at home exercising! Meg choreographs unique routines to today's hottest hits as well as fun throwbacks. Be prepared to have fun, drip sweat and burn calories! No dance experience required.

Yogalates with Erika

As its name implies, yogalates is a blend of yoga and Pilates. Yogalates is the perfect class if you’re looking to improve your core. It gives you exercise, helps you to strengthen and stretch, burn calories, and generally feel better. Erika combines yoga breath with movements targeted to tone different areas of the body. Please bring a yoga mat and light hand weights.

Fitlates with Caroline

This mat-based class will provide a serious challenge for your core. You’ll learn the big 5 Pilates movements with proper form. You’ll also work your lower body, upper body, and postural muscles for a total body burn. All you need is a mat and a set of light hand weights.

Barre with Caroline

Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates, that focuses on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen and tone your body in ways that few other workouts can. The class is designed to be a full-body workout, divided into different sections that focus on major muscle groups, including the arms, thighs, glutes, and core. Bring along a sturdy chair (for a makeshift barre), light hand weights, and a resistance band.

Step & Sculpt with Caroline

Get ready for some total body conditioning in its purest form! We’ll spend the first 30 minutes working cardiovascular endurance with step aerobics. Then we’ll slow it down and dedicate the second half of the class to strength conditioning. If you don’t have a fitness step, wide staircase, or sturdy low bench, don’t worry: all step movements can be done on the floor! You’ll also need a set of hand weights for sculpting.

Yoga with Chris

A gentle class  focusing on flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with the breath. Chris will offer a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone. We do sitting, standing, and inverted postures, and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students, yet fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.

Meet Chris!

Chris Cataldo has been practicing yoga since 2008.  During his first classes, he was captivated by the challenging nature of the physical practice.  As an avid runner and cyclist, he appreciated the ways in which yoga helped strengthen and keep his body flexible.  Gradually the practice began to reach him on a deeper level and in more subtle ways.  As his journey continued, Chris noticed that yoga brought not only physical benefits, but also mental calmness and a sense of peace.  After practicing steadily for a few years, he decided to take his practice to the next level by enrolling in a teacher certification program.

Chris completed his 200-hour certification through Sacred Space Yoga School.  In his classes he likes to draw from a variety of different styles to make a challenging yet enjoyable experience for students of all abilities. One of his goals is to use his experience from other athletic endeavors to reach out to students who might not view yoga as something that is right for them.  He strives to create an environment where students are encouraged to challenge their limits and leave class with a sense of how yoga can benefit their mind, body, and spirit.
